Central Georgia Profiled in Hub Magazine
Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) publication releases latest issue focused on Communications Service and Digital Marketing Industries.
ATLANTA (June 30, 2014) – The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), one of the nation’s largest state trade organizations dedicated to technology and innovation, recently profiled Central Georgia in an article penned by Robert Betzel, CEO, Infinity Network Solutions and Nadia Osman, Director of Revitalization/Business Initiatives, College Hill Alliance for the latest issue of Hub Magazine.
The article, entitled The Hub and Spokes of Commerce in Central Georgia was one of two included in the magazine’s Hub City feature. Hub City offers a glimpse of the communities that make up Georgia’s technology industry. Communities that are profiled in the feature are able to showcase the unique attributes, businesses, endeavors and successes that make them a “Hub City” for technology in Georgia.
When it comes to Middle Georgia, there is more than meets the eye. The region is often called the hub of interstate commerce for Georgia due to its 1-16/I-75 interchange. As a result, the cities of Central Georgia are advanced in the field of logistics with several companies locating their distribution centers in the area. However, there are a multitude of spokes tied to this hub area that make its technology community, workforce and quality of life strong.
The latest issue of the magazine was unveiled in front of a crowd of contributors and sponsors at a special ceremony held at the Herman Miller Showroom in Atlanta’s Midtown West area.
Hub Magazine, TAG’s print component of the Hub multimedia brand, was launched earlier this year and reaches more than 23,000 innovators, entrepreneurs and technologists across Georgia. Each issue features a wide-range of content from enterprises and organizations such as AT&T, U.S Army Signal Center, Cox Communications and others.
Hub is made possible through the generous support of sponsor, Cbeyond.
